Roman bench for training – learn 2 effective exercises
▶ Raising the torso on a Roman bench – position yourself in such a way that the thighs touch the backrest. Straighten your back, pull off your shoulder blades, pull out your chest, and cross your arms at chest level. Take a breath, tighten your belly, tighten your gluteal muscles and start the movement of lowering your torso down. With the exhalation, return to the starting position.
▶ Side torso inclination – position yourself on the bench sideways, locking your feet under the handles. Hip spikes should adhere to the supports. Take a deep breath, tighten your abdominal muscles, and make a lateral abdominal tightening motion (similar to the lateral abdominal technique). With the exhalation, return to the starting position.
